Jacques Adnet (1900 – 1984) – A fine French mid-century leather-covered curved desk with patinated metal details, a compass style cherry frame with tapered legs finished with silver-plated sabots. The matching cherry desk armchair is also covered with leather (same batch), with tapered legs and silver-plated sabots. Provenance: The estate of Nelly Kaplan & Claude Makovski Documentation: Mobilier et Decoration March 1958 Dimensions of the desk chair are: H 33 1/2″ x W 22 1/2″ x D 25 1/4″ A second cherry wood armchair and ottoman are also available, different provenance. We have additional leather from the above batch if desired (this armchair and ottoman are not included in this listing).
Condition
Good condition. Refinished. The leather has been entirely replaced and the chair has been re-upholstered with the same leather. The wood part has been refinished (some minor wear consistent with age and use).
