Fine French 1950s Two-Tiered Walnut Console

A fine French Mid-Century two-tiered walnut console with a marble top and brass details. Given the wood underneath the marble is finished and shows some visible cut dowels suggests that the console might have been a three-tiered shelving unit transformed into a console.
